The Entraguard system for resident’s access to the building is being updated. Out is the old keypad and it is being replaced with a completely new system with many new features. One is the ability to program all phone numbers into our lobby entry system. In the past we were only able to offer calling from the lobby to the apartment for those who had a local phone number. With all the competition in the long distance services our carrier now offers an unlimited call plan that we can use for the lobby entrance
The digital screen directory will list resident’s names and contact code, but not apartment info and will replace the resident’s listings on the board in the vestibule.
As a reminder, tenants should be aware of the comings an goings of others when they enter the building. Also when one prop the front doors open; please keep the time that these doors are open to a minimum for security reasons.

Westminster has begun implementing several different green technologies.
You may have noticed the change in the corridor lighting…our existing lighting is being replaced by energy saving LED bulbs.
We’re applying a reflective coating to our roof. Field studies have shown that cool roof coatings can lower rooftop temperatures and reduce air conditioning bills.
Keep an eye out for more changes in the future.

Here are some tips on ways to save on your utilities
Change your light bulbs to energy saving florescence (CFL). These light bulbs last longer than regular incandescent bulbs and save on energy costs.
Currently Westminster Arch is upgrading all the heating/cooling units with energy efficient units with digital thermostats to better control the apartment's temperature and help residents save on their energy costs.
Also residents may want to consider changing their showerheads to water conserving heads. One can find such plumbing items at Home Depot or Lowes (including their websites). These are easy to install and well help conserve water. If you purchase a showerhead and need help installing just contact the rental office, we’ll be glad to help.
